G5198 Global Mixed-mode Technology Ultra-Low Loss Load Switch Features General Description The G5198 is a N-channel MOSFET power switch designed for high-side load-switching applications, and the device has a typical RDS(ON) of 12m and the output current is limited to 9A.The G5198 has a programmable turn-on load switch and offers a shutdown load discharge circuit to rapidly turn off a load circuit when the switch is disabled. 0.6V to 5.5V Input Voltage Range Very Low RDS(ON) , Typically 12m Minimum Current Limited is 9A Programmable Soft Start Fast Shutdown Load Discharge Short Circuit Protection Thermal Protection 8 Pin ADFN Package The G5198 operates with an input voltage ranging from 0.6V to 5.5V. The G5198 also features an under voltage lock out which turns the switch off when an input under-voltage condition exists. In shutdown mode, the supply current decreases to about 2µA. The G5198 is available in 8 pin ADFN package.
