DX4190 - TE COOLERS EXPRESS CONTROL
RMT Ltd introduces DX4190 - new version of
10-position Z-Meter, a device for express control
of thermoelectric coolers. The device is based on
unique three-criteria method of express
thermoelectric coolers checkout. DX4190 is a
perfect solution for TE coolers manufacturers
and all companies that consume TECs in
volumes.
DX4190 precisely measures three base criteria for thermoelectric cooler - AC Resistance, Figureof-Merit and Time Constant. The combination of these three criteria gives the complete picture
about thermoelectric cooler condition and performance. It allows to make express quality control
for TE coolers manufactures, income control and checkout after mounting and handling for TE
coolers consumers. New Z-Meter is suitable for micro TE coolers and large consumer types.
DX4190 has a new form factor, that provides more flexibility with measuring process.
Thermoelectric coolers can be checked separately or already mounted. DX4190 provides a
simultaneous measurement for 10pcs of thermoelectric coolers at once.

Measuring Unit
The measuring unit is a main block for all operations. It is
equipped with terminal probes, based on 4-wires
measurement scheme for precise results. The connection
to PC requires USB port. The measuring unit allows to
measure up to 10pcs of TE coolers simultaneously. The
measuring block can be used separately or connected to
a testing unit.
Testing Unit
The testing unit is a passive thermostat. It provides a
constant temperature during the measuring procedure .
Testing unit is equipped with 4-wire scheme clips for fast
and easy connection of TEC . There is a sensor, and LED
indicating the measurement results. In addition, there is a
heater unit for checking TE cooler polarity. Testing block is
optimal for express control of separate (not mounted)
thermoelectric coolers.
Terminal Connectors

sets are for connection of a testing block. Both solutions
are included by default.
