Insert the ø3.5 mm earphone plug (SEP-2: sold separately) into the
earphone jack
, and press the power switch
for more than one
second to turn on the metronome.
* When the earphone is used, the speaker
will not work, and the
sound can be heard only through the earphone.
* The SQ70 earphone jack is a monophonic type. If a stereo-type
earphone is used, the sound can be heard only through one of the
earphones.
MEMORY BACKUP FUNCTION
Even after the metronome is turned off, the beat and reference pitch
you have set are stored in memory and will not be initialized.
* If the battery is replaced, the metronome will return to the following
initial settings.

BATTERY CHANGE
* When the battery nears its end, the tempo/beat LED display becomes
dim, and the volume of the sound becomes weak. In that case, the
metronome may work improperly. Replace the battery immediately,
or use the metronome with the AC adaptor (STAD: sold separately).
● How to replace the battery
Tempo/beat LED display
It visually represents the tempo
or beat of the metronome with
the color and flashing of the
LED light.
Earphone jack
Insert the ø3.5 mm earphone
plug into it to use with the
earphone.
Sound selector
It switches over the metronome
sound in the metronome
function and the reference
notes between A4 and B 4 in
the tuner function.
Power switch
It turns on and off the metronome. Pressing the switch for
more than one second turns
on the power and lights it up.
Pressing it lightly while the
power is on turns off the
metronome and switch light.
Speaker
It gives out the tempo sound
and reference note.
Tempo chart
The tempo marks and the
number of tempos are printed
on the chart.
Volume dial
Turn it to adjust the volume of
the metronome and the
reference note.
AC adaptor jack (DC 9 V, center
minus type)
Insert an AC adaptor into it to
use with the adaptor.
Beat/pitch indicator lamps
They indicate the selected beat
in the metronome function and
the selected frequency of the
reference note in the tuner function.
Beat/pitch selector
Press it to select the desired
beat in the metronome function
and the desired frequency of
the reference note in the tuner
function.

Turn the dial to set the indicator
to the desired tempo or to the
reference note (“A4/B 4”).
HOW TO USE

by
pushing it rather strongly with a thumb in the direction of the
arrow.
3. Remove the old battery, and replace it with a new one. When
doing so, check that the (+) and (–) terminals of the battery are
correctly connected.
* If the battery is inserted in the wrong direction, a malfunction will be
caused.

Two types of metronome sound are available. Select one according
to the insturment you are playing or as desired.
