SCM cells are designed for medium discharge periods between 30 minutes and 3 hours. Benefits ■ ■ They provide a long service life, minor maintenance requirements, outstanding resistance to electrical and mechanical abuse, excellent charge retention, a long shelf life and long operation over a wide temperature range. Translucent polypropylene containers allow visibility of the electrolyte level, hence facilitating maintenance in stationary applications.
