It is a single-chip radio and baseband IC for Bluetooth 2.4GHz systems. Integrated peripherals reduce the number of external components required, including external codec, SMPS, LDOs, balun or program memory, ensuring minimum production costs. The SW architecture enables the CSR8350 QFN to run cVc Handsfree/Wired and A2DP encoder/decoder on chip to reduce the MIPS requirement on the host. Enhanced Kalimba DSP coprocessor with 80MIPS supports enhanced audio and DSP applications. Bluetooth enabled audio car system In-vehicle navigation PND An integrated audio codec supports 2 channels of ADC, 2 digital microphone inputs and stereo output, as well as a variety of audio standards. The on-chip MCU operates the Bluetooth stack up to the HCI. A host processor must provide all upper layers including the application and interfaces to the chip using a UART/USB physical layer.
