Purpose The purpose of this notice is to notify all customer and distributors about the changes to the ITS cap ordering codes. 2. Change definition The BAS (build-a-switch) and the options within it have changed slightly for cap types 400E and 401E. We will no longer be offering silver paint, only matte silver will be available. We will no longer be offering gray tinted plastic as a std. We will no longer be offering pad printing as a standard only laser etching. We have added water clear plastic as a standard material option. 2.1 Part #’s affected: 400EBA01E is now 400ECA01E in the new ordering scheme. 2.2 Reason for change. Simplifying the ordering codes, adding standard options, and removing higher MOQ options that are no longer considered standard. 3. Change impact and qualification method 3.1 Impact of Changes There will be no change to the form, fit, or function of the switch. The manufacturing & quality processes, location and procedures also remain unchanged.
