Spansion® Programmable 2ch Buck + 1ch Buck-Boost DC/DC Converter with I 2C Interface S6AP412A / S6AP413A description specification Spansion’s S6AP412A and S6AP413A are programmable power management ICs consisting of 2- or 3-channel buck DC/DC converter and 1-channel buck-boost DC/DC converter. S6AP412A has 2-channel buck DC/DC converter and S6AP413A has 3-channel. Utilizing I2C, the output voltage/soft-start time/on-off of output are controlled easily. The power design can be changed by software without re-designing the PCB. Each channel has power-good function, so the setting of the start-shutdown sequence of power line with hardware is also possible. Small and lowheight inductor is applicable by 3MHz switching frequency and PCB area can be reduced. This IC is suitable for the system required for three power supplies and supports DSV and ASV control using an I2C interface.
