Due to production discontinuance of present electromagnetic brake, we would like to inform you about specification change as below. Models: Compact geared motors with brake Single-phase motor with electromagnetic brake... M □ RX ** GB4 △ △, M □ RZ ** GB4 △ △ Three-phase motors with electromagnetic brake... M □ MX ** GB4 △ △, M □ MZ ** GB4 △ △ Single-phase motors with electromagnetic brake (variable speed type)... M □ RX ** GBV4 △ △ Part numbers with symbol “B” at 7th or 8th digit, and several overseas models ending with symbol "A” are subject to this change. Reason of change: Because current electromagnetic brake will be discontinued, we will switch to alternative models of the same manufacturer. Contents of change: 1) Brake input - There are models with increase range from 1W to 4W Brake current - There are models with change range from “-0.01A” to “+0.01A” Motor Mass - There are models with increase range from 0.1kg to 0.4kg. ※ For more details, please refer to the next pages. 2) Lead wire of the brake: Present product New Product UL3398, AWG22 UL3613, AWG22 Coating outer diameter (nominal): 1.58mm Coating outer diameter (nominal): 2.0mm Core configuration:17 / φ0.16mm Core configuration: 7 / φ0.25mm I. Brake Characteristics: There is no change (Static friction torque, stopping time). II. There is no change in motor characteristics. III.
