TLE983x BC-BD Microcontroller with LIN and Power Switches for Automotive Applications TLE983x Delta Sheet Rev. 1.0, 2012-07-27 Automotive Power Delta Sheet Rev. 1.0, 2012-07-27 TLE983x BC-BD Microcontroller with LIN and Power Switches for Automotive Applications Overview This document describes the differences between the design steps BC and BD of the TLE983x. 1 Lowside switch turn on sequence simplified The recommended turn on sequence for the lowside switches is not necessary any more, the bits LSx_EN and LSx_ON can be switched on simultaneously. But still, the implemented workaround may be used, there is no need to remove it. 2 Implementation of additional firmware routines Additional firmware routines were implemented to improve Infineon internal tests regarding yield and test time improvement. 3 EMC improvement regarding LIN The DPI performance has been improved. The (redundant) automatic overcurrent shutdown has been disabled, the protection is ensured by the implemented overcurrent limitation.
