NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT www.taiwansemi.com TPC816 SERIES 4 Pin Phototransistor Photocoupler DIP-4/DIP-4M/ SOP-4 Taiwan Semiconductor is introducing the TPC816 series of photocouplers that consist of a high-intensity infrared LED coupled with a phototransistor in a variety of through hole and surface mount dual-in-line package options. The TPC816 is certified to major international safety standards and provides a reliable and safe method of interfacing high voltage components with low voltage operations and isolating high voltage transients from sensitive electronic equipment and components. The TPC816 series of photocouplers are available to support a wide range of applications including industrial equipment, home appliances, switch mode power supplies, inverters, and DC-DC converters.
