As part of this ongoing process, the portfolio of the Si470x/3x-D60/D62 products is being reconfigured to provide the best feature set at the lowest cost to meet our customers’ needs. This PCN serves as notice that the Si470x/3x products will be segmented for AM/FM support using D60 products and AM/FM/AUXIN support using D62 products. Differentiation of these features will maximize the functionality of devices while allowing customers to order only the features they need for their applications. On the effective date of this PCN, the AUXIN function will no longer be tested on the Si470x/3x-D60 devices which currently support AM/FM/AUXIN. The AUXIN function will be supported and fully tested on the Si470x/3x-D62 as an AM/FM/AUXIN device. Customers currently ordering D60 products that do not use AUXIN do not need to make any changes to their orders or applications. Customers currently ordering D60 products that wish to continue to use the AUXIN feature should convert their product orders based on the table provided below. The removal of AUXIN testing on the D60 products will not affect performance, specifications, programming or any other aspect of the D60 AM/FM modes. The replacement part numbers in the table below provide drop-in replacement options for customers wishing to convert their orders from D60 to D62 products.
