The filter has excellent insertion loss for the small size and also has a varistor for transient protection on the line side. For additional transint protection another varistor can be connected across the load terminals. The compact size makes it easy to fit into systems with limited space allocations. The dual terminal block accommodates 2-hole compression lugs on 0.625 centers.
