All images of caves Jenolan Caves NSW Australia 3 Enviro Range LED Show Cave Lights Enviromini XL LED Light Weidmuller’s new 4th generation family of Enviromini XL and Enviromaxi XL LED Lights have been designed to provide universal light sources for all illumination requirements of show caves. The Enviro range of LED Lights contain an internal LED driver to allow for direct wiring to any power supply from 12 to 36VDC. The light output may be adjusted to the desired intensity by internal trim pots. Super capacitors provide a ramp up when switched on, and a ramp down when switched off, negating the need for expensive dimming controls. This feature enables a smooth transition from each illuminated section of the cave. Each light is only 40mm in diameter. The Penny Dome can be concealed behind crystal for rear illumination and the Penny Trumpet can be hidden between rocks for a long narrow projected beam to highlight individual features. The versions supplied in the right angle housing with mounting bracket contain an internal LED driver to allow for direct wiring to any power supply from 6 to 28VDC. Each Rockstar LED light consumes only 1 watt of power but delivers up to 120 lumens of light in five different beam angles. For those wishing to directly access the LED contained inside the Rockstar LED Light we offer an extended range without internal LED drivers. This version is supplied in the straight housing without a bracket. This enables external drivers to be used and for the lights to be wired in series strings. These versions are very useful when using computer controlled switching and dimming. The external drivers must limit the current to 350mA for continuous operation or 700mA for intermittent use. Weidmüller offers a custom design and production service where we can offer plug and play junction boxes fitted with all the relevant operational equipment. Weidmüller also manufactures battery backed 24VDC switchmode power supplies to provide a safe and clean supply for all our LED lights. Installation products such as terminals, connectors and relays are all to be found in our exhaustive range of electrical connectivity and industrial electronics products. We also recommend the use of surge protection devices on all mains circuits entering a cave. Weidmüller’s surge protection products are manufactured to the highest IEC standards and are most suitable for this application. We would be pleased to discuss your particular requirements for supply of individual items or a complete system package. Solid state and electromechanical relays Power supply solutions Surge Protection Termseries solid state and mechanical relays have set a precedence for compact functionality with the 6.1mm width, replaceable relay, and symmetrical design. With 6A switching capacity in 1CO or 2CO (12.2mm) models. For higher switching capacities look to our D series or PWR relays to 30A. The PSSR range expands our Solid state relays for switching loads to 70Aac. As a leading provider of power supply solutions, we can match the correct models for your requirements. From low cost Chassis mount, or Din rail mount from 0.5A single phase to 40A three phase, a solution is available. Power integrity is always an issue, and with our buffer modules or DC-UPS, 24Vdc supply can be maintained during power sags or interruptions. Adding to integrity, our CAP module can clear circuit breakers that contain short circuits that would otherwise affect the supply output. Weidmüller's extensive range of surge protection products provides the best protection for Power, PV, Instrumentation and data installations. The VPU series meets latest international and Australian standards ensuring your investment is future proof. Low voltage and instrumentation circuits use VSPC pluggable or VSSC 6mm models.
