Aeroflex designed SRAMs, referenced in the table below, employ an architecture which reduces power consumption during read accesses. This architecture is commonly used by many SRAM manufacturers. Sensing circuits are only active during the initial 57ns of every read cycle; therefore, it is imperative that timing parameters tAVAV and tETQV are met according to the SMD and datasheet specifications. For further details, an application note (AN-MEM-002) has been written and appended to applicable Aeroflex datasheets.
