It can be used e.g. with the MB9EF126 (Calypso) and MB9DF126 (Atlas) evaluation board for software development and testing. With the ADA-DISP2MULTIIO-001 it is possible to connect TFT display to evaluation board. The adapter board ADA-FCR4-MULTIOIO-001 extends the both evaluation boards SKMB9EF-120-001 / SK-MB9DF-120-001 with several interfaces like e.g. cluster and LCD display connection. The board allows the designer immediately to start with the software development before a final target system is available. 1.2 Features of Display board ADA-DISP2MULTIIO-001 < TFT-Display with backlighting < DMO_COM43H4M09XLC (DATA MODULE) < < Size: 4.3 inch diagonal display < Resolution: 480[H] × 272[V]) < Interface: 8bit RGB Intended to be used with ADA-FCR4-MULTIIO-001 (Note: ADA-FCR4-MULTIIO-001 has to be ordered separately) TFT-Display ADA-DISP2MULTIIO-001 Figure 1: Display board © Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe GmbH -5- UG-9E0010-10 ADA-DISP2MULTIIO-001 Chapter 1 Overview 1.3 < Features of MultiIO board ADA-FCR4-MULTIIO-001 Board-to-Board connector to connect MCU board on top (Note: SK-MB9EF120-001 / SK-MB9DF120-001 has to be ordered separately) < 1x LIN/RS232-Transceiver (SUB-D9 connector) < 1x High-speed CAN-Transceiver (SUB-D9 connector) < 4x User-buttons < 8x User-LEDs < GDC-Display interface (2x20 pin header) < ADA-Cluster interface (2x20 pin header) < MediaLB interface for SMSC MOST board < Ethernet interface (RJ-45) < LVDS, RGB interface (Video Out) < 2x I²S (Audio In and Out) < Board header for IO extension MediaLB interface Plug Ethernet Audio in / out MCU board CAN LIN/ RS232 Video in 2nd Disp out ADC AN ADA-CLUSTER Figure 2: MultiIO board 1.4 Features of MCU board SK-MB9EF-120-001/SK-MB9DF-120-001 < On-board 5V, 3V3 and 1V2 voltage regulators < Power-LEDs for the 5V and 3V3 power supply < 1x Reset-button, Reset-LED < Onboard supervisor for the voltage supply < Board-to-Board connector to connect MCU board on MultiIO board (ADA-FCR4-MULTIIO-001) UG-9E0010-10 -6- © Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe GmbH ADA-FCR4-CLUSTER-001 Chapter 1 Overview < 1x USB to serial converter (Type-B connector) < 2x Serial Flash memory via HSSPI (High Speed SPI) < 4 MHz main crystal < 32 kHz sub crystal < JTAG Trace connector < JTAG Debug connector CAN Con. The FCR4 MCU board and MultiIO board support the required 27V / 12V / 5V / 3.3V / 1.2V power supplies. Use the development environment or serial Flash programming tool to program the Cluster demo software into FCR4 Family MCU (e.g. Calypso / Atlas). © Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe GmbH -9- UG-9E0010-10 ADA-DISP2MULTIIO-001 Chapter 2 Installation More details to Tools and Software can be found on the following Internet page: http://mcu.emea.fujitsu.com/ Connect the two ribbon cables of Cluster board to the assigned connector of MultiIO board (DISPLAY cable to DISPLAY-out connector) and check the correct position of pin 1 (red label of ribbon cable). For the correct position of the tow ribbon cables see also Figure 5. Note: 2.4 Please check the correct connection of the one ribbon cables to the MultiIO board to prevent damages of evaluation system. The interfaces of evaluation system are unprotected against swap any cables. Digital power supply The Display board (ADA-DISP2MULTIIO-001) is designed for using together with the MultiIO board (ADA-FCR4-MULTIIO-001) and MCU board (SK-MB9EF-120-001 / SK-MB9DF-120001), it gets its several power supply from the MCU board, otherwise external power supplies have to be applied at the CLUSTER and DISPLAY connector. For detailed pin description, refer to Table 1 – 7. Table 1 shows all relevant power supplies and current consumption (typ.) of the ADADISP2MULTIIO-001.
