It includes an on-board CRT/LCD interface (SEG ONLY), which allows connecting to a CRT and/or 3V/5V flat panels via 24Bit TFT LCD interface. Expansions cards (i.e. additional COM ports, Ethernet, etc.) can be added using the PC/104 bus. Operating Systems can be booted from floppy disk, hard disk, or from the flash disk (compact flash or DOC). A non volitile EEPROM allows to save setup values without a battery connected and a programmable watchdog timer is on board. Power consumption is also low and is typically around 0.86A (typ. for SEL) at 5V. No fan is needed (Passive cooling).
