The stand-by power management significantly reduces the power consumption when the system is not active. The controller supports fixed and multi-frequency analog CRT monitors. CRT, LCD modules or both simultaneously can be enabled/disabled by software commands. The onboard display memory allows to display resolutions up to 1024x768 pixels with up to 16 colours. The onboard LCD voltage generator produces a wide range of –15V to +30V. The FLASH BIOS Support Feature from Digital Logic handles more of the flat panels of different technologies and from various suppliers. It consists of an EPROM that holds 4 generic VGA BIOS and a FLASH that can hold up to 4 additional customer programmed LCD BIOS. VGA and LCD BIOS can simultaneously be used. A LCD programming toll disk is provided with the board.
