The 4CX20,000C is recommended for use in audio or RF applications. It features an internal structure having low RF losses, permitting operation at full ratings to 110 MHz. This tube has a gain of 20 dB in FM broadcast service, with power output of 40kW. It is also recommended for RF linear amplifier service. The anode is rated for 20 kW of dissipation and incorporates a highly efficient cooler with ripple fins, which significantly reduces air pressure and flow requirements and produces a low acoustical noise.
