Capacitance drift over time, due to humidity, temperature cycling or operation life are negligible. Electrical characteristics, such as insulation resistance (I.R.), dissipation factor and dielectric absorption are superior in this Metallized Polyester capacitor as compared to the characteristics displayed by Electrolytic Capacitors. In switching power supply applications requiring medium current, the size and weight savings of the series SP1313TF capacitors coupled with the superior electrical characteristics mentioned above make SP1313TF capacitors the ideal choice in your new or existing switching power supply. Case is flame retardant - tape wrap construction with epoxy end seals. Capacitance Tolerance: Standard is +/- 20%. Also available is +/- 10% and +/- 5%. The tolerance applies when measured at 1000 +/- 20 Hz at 25 oC. Temperature Range: -55 oC to +100 oC. Humidity Resistance: Tested as outlined in MIL-STD-202C, method 103B, condition A. After final condition IR, no less than 1/2 minimum values listed in table above. Dielectric strength to withstand test as outlined in par. 3.4. One failure allowed of 18 units tested.
