RF-3150-AT152
manpack Low Band
Antenna,
30 to 108MHz
The RF-3150-AT152 VHF dismount antenna is
a linearly polarized, end-fed monopole blade
antenna for use with the AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C)
and RF-7800M-MP Falcon III® Manpack
transceivers. It connects directly to the low-band
port of the Falcon III Manpack radios via a custom
TNC connector.
The antenna is composed of a flexible gooseneck,
a TNC connector, matching network and a
foldable, sleeved blade radiator. The components
are designed to withstand the rigors of a military
environment.
It can be folded during on-the-move operations,
although in this deployment, range is limited. The
antenna achieves optimum performance when it
is completely deployed and is mounted on the
radio.
