VHF ANTENNA
The RF-3191-AT001 is a transportable omnidirectional antenna
specifically designed for quick deployment and ease of operation. A unique tripod leg structure allows the antenna to be
mounted directly over the ground or mounted on a standard
communications mast. The antenna covers 30 to 90 MHz
frequency band with optimized passive tuning.
The RF-3191 enables rapid deployment (less than a minute) due
to its sophisticated tripod design and can be disassembled and
stowed just as quickly. The RF-3191 consists of the main antenna body, thin extender element, three legs, coaxial cable,
adapters, and carry bag. The tripod legs collapse and can be
either removed or rotated parallel to the lower radiating section.
The entire assembly stows in a volume of less than 36" long by
10" diameter and contained within a carry bag.
When increased range is required, the RF-3161 can attach to a
mast via a 3/4”-10 threaded hole in the antenna body. This is
the typical mast mount found on many masts such as the OE254 mast. Additionally, an optional adapter can be provided
for clamp mounting to a mast with a 1.5" diameter top
section. For fixed installations, the telescoping legs
can be replaced with metallic ground radials that
connect directly to the guy wires.
