OT-HD-TRLSC-IC Optiva™ HD-SDI Tri-Level Sync Generator HD-SDI Tri-Level Sync Generator Video Audio Data The Opticomm HD-SDI Tri-Level Sync Generator accepts an input of an uncompressed HD-SDI signal at 1.485Gbps (per SMPTE 292) and outputs a locally generated genlocked Tri-Level Sync reference signal as well as a loopback of the HD-SDI input. The generator will accommodate any HD Tri-Level Sync frame type defined under SMPTE 274, 295 and 296. The Tri-Level Sync can be used as a genlocked reference signal for HD braodcast and professional AV applications. The OT-HD-TRLSC-IC card would generally be used in conjunction with the Opticomm Optiva™ series optical communication platform. The card would typically be placed at the receive end of the HD-SDI uncompressed communication path to output a local sync for immediate reference.
