A low minimum operating voltage of 2.5V is ideal for the power supply voltage of Li-Ion battery-operated electronic equipment. The IC provides soft start, short circuit protection and shut down functions. During shut down mode, current consumption is reduced less than 1µA. The error amplifier gain is built in the IC, so external components are minimized. An external compensation pin gives user flexibility in determining loop compensation.
