ST7DALI-EVAL ST7DALI-EVAL evaluation kit Data brief Features ■ Master board with: – preprogrammed ST72334x – power supply – serial port for host PC connection ■ 2 slave boards with: – preprogrammed ST7DALI microcontrollers implementing the DALI communication interface – 1 to 10 V output (standard dimmable ballast input) – 12 V power supply connector ■ Software CD-ROM for installation of the lighting control interface software Description The ST7DALI-EVAL evaluation kit provides a complete evaluation and demonstration platform for the on-chip lighting control features of the ST7DALI device. The ST7DALI devices integrate the DALI Communication Module (DCM) for serial communication with controllable electronic ballasts, which provide the required starting voltage and operating current for fluorescent, mercury and other electric-discharge lamps. When developers are ready to create their own applications, the kit serves as a reference design for a DALI gateway topology. Table 1.
