It is housed in an industry standard 3x3mm QFN package and operates from a single 3.3 or 5 volt supply. Circuit operating modes are digitally controlled by Entropic’s EN2510 and other compatible chipsets. The XZ1003-QT includes a power amplifier, power detector, transmit/receive switch, switched attenuators, bias circuits and digital control circuitry. A switched attenuator in the receiver provides an adjustable gain step set using one external resistor. The integrated transmitter bias circuit stabilizes amplifier performance over temperature and process variation with bias adjustment possible using an external pull-up/pull-down resistor.
