The images sent to the VCR change up to 50 times a second (every field) to ensure the maximum possible amount of information is recorded. Duplex Plus models can display a different multi-screen image (quad) on each of the two monitors. It is worth noting that two 12” monitors displaying two quads provide larger, higher resolution images than a single 20” monitor displaying a 9-way split.
