The R TS 2100B series are desig ned for toy s. They prov ide speech up to 40 seconds. In
addition, since the R TS 2100B series are m icroprocessor b ased and interrupt input
driv en controllers, they can deal w ith com plex prog ram s and b ecom e a product of rich
functions. The R TS 2100B series prov ide the m ax im um flex ib ility in application w ith the
m inim um prog ram m ing effort, and, m ost im portantly , reduce the tim e to g et the product

D estination (D E S T ) register keeps the indirectly b ranching destination w hile executing
control program.
Interrupt inp uts (IN T A ) specify the expected trigger condition to detect the interrupt
signal and b ranching to the program sector address. Initializ e all b its to "0" (disab le)
w hen pow er O N the chip.
F lag (F L G ) keeps the program executing states; b ased on these flags, it can b e
designed to b ecome a more complicated system for more applications.
T imer (T M R ) w orks either as a general-purpose timer or speech duration control. It
automatically counts dow n w hen loading a non-z ero v alue into it. T his timer w ill keep
the z ero-state flag to b e checked b y instruction, W A IT M R , w hen it counts dow n to 0.
T he O utput signal (O U T ) can w ork as the L E D driv ing circuit, b y sending the
conditional pulse to interface the sequential logic or scanning the key pad matrix
w hen the high input pin count is required in the application. Initializ e all b its to "0"
