CYT 6169 500mA CMOS Low Power LDO Voltage Regulator Features General Description The CYT6169 is a precision voltage reference that is designed to work at very low current and low voltage conditions. The CYT6169 can work from a supply voltage as low as 1.6V.and consumes as low as 8uA current. Temperature stabiliy is averaging 50ppm/℃.It is ideal for MP3/MPEG4 applications where a constant voltage reference is required. Which is independent of the environment temperature. In addition. CYT6169 is designed to be stable under conditions where Cin and Cout are not present. However,it is recommended to include Cin and Cout in the system design as this will increase the PSRR rating, as shown in the PSRR graph. Note 2: The device is not guaranteed to function outside its operating rating. Note 3: The maximum allowable power dissipation at any TA (ambient temperature) is calculated using: PD(MAX) = (TJ(MAX)- TA)/θJA. Exceeding the maximum allowable power dissipation will result in excessive die temperature, and the regulator will go into thermal shutdown. See Table 1 and the “Thermal Considerations” section for details. Note 4: Output voltage temperature coefficient is the worst-case voltage change divided by the total temperature range. Note 5: Regulation is measured at constant junction temperature using low duty cycle pulse testing. Parts are tested for load regulation in the load range from 0A to 5mA. Changes in output voltage due to heating effects are covered by the thermal regulation specification.
