Introduction
Vincotech develops and manufactures subsystems as well as
electronic modules and offers manufacturing services geared
to help customers to master complex challenges in electronics
integration. With approximately 500 employees worldwide, backed
by vast experience and a long history in electronics integration,
Vincotech leverages these assets to help customers achieve
maximum market success.
Vincotech is one of the market leaders in power modules.
Target applications include motor drives, solar inverters, welding
equipment, and power supplies.
With 13 different standard housings and more than 35 standard
product families, Vincotech offers a wide power range using
different topologies.
The products include Power Integrated Modules (combination
of input rectifier, inverter and brake chopper), Sixpack Inverter
Modules, Rectifier Modules, PFC-, H-Bridge, Half-Bridge Modules,
Booster and NPC Converter Modules. Vincotech covers a broad
power spectrum, ranging from 5A to 450A at 600V and 1200V.

Applications
Vincotech power modules are used for a broad range
of different applications. The most common solutions available
by Vincotech are described below. The icons are also shown
on each module description to indicate for which applications
a module can be utilized.
Industrial Drives
Standard drive applications for industrial use with power range
from 1 to 60kW. Topologies are Power Integrated Modules
(PIM, rectifier, inverter, and brake), Sixpacks (3 phase inverters),
Halfbridge and Rectifier Modules.
Embedded Drives
Integrated drive applications for industrial and home appliances.
Typically used in fans, air conditioning, pumps, power tools,
washing machines, and refrigerators. Solutions are Intelligent Power
Modules (IPM), Power Integrated Modules with embedded PFC
(Power Factor Correction) circuit, and Rectifier Modules with PFC.
Solar Inverters
Inverter applications for solar power systems. Transformerless
and -based inverters with 1- and 3-phase outputs. Special
topologies like asymmetric H-bridge, Neutral Point Clamped (NPC)
inverters, parallel and symmetric boosts for high efficiency.
For systems with overall power up to 200kW.
Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS)
Power components for UPS applications. Modules for AC/DC
and DC/AC power conversion. Topologies like 1- and 3-phase
rectifiers, halfbridges, H-bridges, boosters, and NPCs. Power ranges
up to 200kW.
Welding
Solutions for industrial welding applications, fast switching Half- and
H-Bridges, PFC and Rectifier topologies. Special modules for zero
switching (ZVS) applications, with improved thermal resistance
(Rth), or internal DC link capacitors for lower turn-off losses.
Power Supplies
Power components typically used in power supply applications.
Modules with topologies like rectifiers, PFC switches (single, dual,
and interleaved), boost circuits (step-up and step-down),
Halfbridges, and H-Bridges.

The usage of phase change material for
the thermal conducting between module
and heat sink holds a lot of advantages. This material is solid at room
temperature. Therefore, it is smear-resistant during transportation and
assembly of the module. The screen-printing process is very accurate.
Thus, the thickness of the material is well defined and can be
optimized to a maximum of heat transfer capability.

your application. Based on the generated curves you can get information
about the current, power, and temperature conditions for your
