Both product families are targeted at industrial and professional telecom and IT applications, as well as mobile equipment, where the devices’ very low ESR and high ripple currents help minimize losses. The capacitors’ surface-mount technology allows for high-volume placement in automated production lines. Additionally, the 180CPS and 181CPL families are RoHS-compliant and capable of withstanding lead (Pb)-free solder profiles. The devices offer a capacitance range of 18 μF to 2700 μF, with voltages from 2.5 V to 35 V and a temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C. The 180CPS is available in can sizes of 5.3 mm by 5.3 mm by 5.7 mm to 10.4 mm by 10.4 mm by 12.6 mm, with a useful life of 2,500 h. The 181CPL features can sizes of 6.6 mm by 6.6 mm by 5.9 mm to 10.4 mm by 10.4 mm by 12.6 mm, and a useful life of 5,000 hours.
