It supports different Vbus working voltages, up to 30 V, so it’s suitable for use in a range of charging applications. The very small DFN1616-6 package has an industry-standard footprint and is easy to place, even in portable systems. The USB OTG specification defines a dual-role device that can act as either a host or a peripheral. USB OTG connectors can be used with portable devices or PCs, and are 100% compatible with the USB 2.0 specification. The host capability of USB OTG lets portable devices connect to a targeted subset of USB peripherals.
