19-0618; Rev 1; 9/06 Low-Voltage Reference The MAX8069 is a 1.2V temperature-compensated voltage reference. It uses the bandgap principle to achieve excellent stability and low noise at reverse currents down to 60µA. The MAX8069 also features excellent stability, freedom from oscillation. The MAX8069 is a functional alternative to Maxim’s ICL8069 with an identical pinout. However, when plugging units into a powered-up test fixture, an instantaneous voltage equal to the compliance of the test circuit will be seen. This should not exceed 20V. Stresses beyond those listed under “Absolute Maximum Ratings” may cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated in the operational sections of the specifications is not implied. Exposure to absolute maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability. ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS (TA = +25°C, unless otherwise noted.)
