NDAS3012 controller receives disk operation commands from the host through Ethernet and converts the commands to native command sequence to ATA/ATAPI interface. NDAS3012 controller is a high performance protocol converter between ATA/ATAPI commands and ATA/ATAPI devices data transport requests. NDAS3012 controller facilitates the network directly attached storage technology by directly interfacing ATA/ATAPI devices to the Ethernet.
