If the pressure loss of total system is over 43(9 kW) or 20(16 kW)kPa, additional water pump should be installed in series. Otherwise, the flow rate might decreased, causing insufficient heating or cooling. When ESP is not enough, additional pump should be installed. In this case, install the PWM control external type pump additionally. 6-2. Expansion Vessel 1) Setting the pre-pressure of the expansion vessel When it is required to change the default pre-pressure of the expansion vessel(1 bar), keep in mind the following guidelines ◆ Use only dry nitrogen to set the expansion vessel pre-pressure. ◆ Inappropriate setting of the expansion vessel pre-pressure will lead to malfunction of the system.
