The YU-114 is a planar triode intended for use as a switch tube and as a pulse modulator. The compact, low-inductance package allows fast rise and fall times and very short pulse operation. In air the max plate voltage is 15 kilovolts and in insulating oil it is 25 kilovolts. The plate is conduction-cooled and rated at 400 Watts when used with the proper heatsink.
