Loaded with built-in functions, contributing to
inverters with enhanced energy savings
IPM G1 Series with 7th-generation IGBT
<Main Features>
・Power loss has been reduced with the introduction of the 7th-generation IGBT produced using CSTBTTM*1 and a diode incorporating a RFC*2 structure
that contributes to reducing the power consumed in inverters.
・The new resin-insulated metal baseplate, the same as that for the 7th-generation IGBT modules introduced, eliminates the solder-attached section,
and the thermal cycle lifetime has been increased, which contributes to improving inverter reliability.
・In addition to the built-in functions of the previous product,*3 a low-noise drive, error detection function and bootstrap power source *4 contribute to
lowering inverter noise and shortening design time.
・The introduction of press-fit pins and PC-TIM *5 contribute to simplifying the inverter assembly process (optional).

• Power loss has been reduced with the introduced of the 7th-generation IGBT produced using CSTBTTM*2 and a diode incorporating a relaxed field of
cathode (RFC) structure, which contributes to reducing the power consumed in inverters.
• The new structure introduced eliminates the solder-attached section, and the thermal cycle lifetime has been increased, which contributes to
improving the reliability of inverters.
