It includes protection circuits 5V Voltage Regulator against over-load, short circuit and over-temperature Watchdog & Reset conditions. The low-side switch function and the K-line transceiver are independent of the reset and WDE Rx watchdog signals. K-Line Transceiver Tx The K-line transceiver is a serial link bus interface. It KIO provides bi-directional half-duplex communication ST interfacing using the special ISO K-line and meets IN1 the ISO norm 9141 specification. The K-line bus OUT1 output is protected against bus shorts and over LS Driver 1 temperature conditions. IN2 The low-side channels are optimized for the use in OUT2 engine management systems.
