Connections A typical connection diagram is shown in fig.1. A link between host PC and EVB90807 could be done through RS232 or USB serial interface. The board requires two DC power supplies for operation: 24 V and 5 V. Sensor module is connected to the EVB by 3 wires: VDD, GND and OUT (jumpers J19 must be set, done by default). During ROM-programming of the integrated pressure sensor a pulse current reaches the value of about 200 mA. Thus to avoid voltage spikes which can exceed the maximum supply voltage of the sensor it is recommended to use 1uF ceramic capacitor between the pins VDD and GND. That capacitor has to be mounted as close as possible to the sensor, for example, on the programming connector (see fig.1). Fig.1. Power supply requirements The EVB90807 has to be supplied with two DC power supplies: - board power supply: +24 V, 0.5 A - sensor power supply: +5 V, 0.1 A.
