Standard Control Unit (SCU+) Controller, SCU+ M521B, M522B, M523B, M221B Features and Benefits ■ Flexible and scalable to satisf y your present and future needs ■ Minimized installation time as a result of easily configurable file upload/download ■ Sophisticated boost charge management gives long battery life-span ■ Automatic battery test including advanced scheduled test / constant test / fast test ■ High quality failure information due to 1 intelligent alarm setup through using PLC ■ Lower operating cost due to energy saving standby function for rectifier 1 DC Power for Business-Critical Continuity™ Description The next generation Standard Control Unit (SCU+) is a powerful control unit used in DC power applications. The SCU+ enables remote monitoring of the telecom site's AC mains supply, DC power plant, battery backup, site environment, etc. The SCU+ enables advanced battery management such as sophisticated boost charge control, remaining time prediction, constant current test, scheduled test and fast test. Furthermore, with basic energy saving function, the SCU is surely a cost-efficient product. The information and alarms, from a specific site, can be monitored or checked by means of a simple web browser or special monitoring software. When using a web browser, no additional software is needed and the web browser login monitor the site is password protected. Designed for global use, the SCU withstands high telecom standards, and provides great reliability and availability.
