The allowable power dissipation (Pd max) is 1.0W (Ta=25°C) with no fin attached. When the L78M00T series are
surface-mounted on a hybrid IC board or printed circuit board, a high allowable power dissipation can be obtained,
though they are placed in a small-sized package.
