FK PACKAGE (TOP VIEW) B4 B5 B6 NC VCC B7 B8 description The ′BCT25245 is a 25-Ω octal bus transceiver designed for asynchronous communication between data buses. It improves both the performance and density of 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented transceivers. 4 5 3 2 1 28 27 26 25 VCC B2 NC B1 DIR A1 6 24 7 23 8 22 9 21 10 20 19 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 OE A8 GND NC A7 A6 GND GND A2 A3 NC GND A4 A5 The device allows data transmission from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus depending upon the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. The output-enable (OE) input can disable the device so that both buses are effectively isolated. B3 NC – No internal connection These transceivers are capable of sinking 188-mA IOL, which facilitates switching 25-Ω transmission lines on the incident wave. The distributed VCC and GND pins minimize switching noise for more reliable system operation. The SN54BCT25245 is characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of – 55°C to 125°C. The SN74BCT25245 is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C.
