System Sensor’s SpectrAlert SP2 series wall speaker/strobes represent the
combination of leading edge strobe and speaker technology with a user-friendly,
uniquely styled design.
Technology. SpectrAlert SP2 wall speaker/strobes combine the low current draw of
the original SpectrAlert strobes, with the fidelity sound quality of the SpectrAlert
SP200 series evacuation speaker.
Installation. The SpectrAlert SP2 series includes several features to simplify installation. With a field-reversible strobe, the SP2 wall speaker/strobes may be either leftor right-mounted to avoid potential obstructions. In addition, the unit may be
secured to a 4″x4″x21⁄8″ back box, without the need for an extension ring. An
optional back box skirt is available for surface-mount applications.
Flexibility. Like all SpectrAlert products, the SpectrAlert SP2 wall speaker/strobes
feature the flexibility to meet a wide variety of applications. The 24 volt strobe is
available in five different candelas, while the speaker offers field-selectable
25.0/70.7 voltage and 1⁄4, 1⁄2, 1, and 2 watt power taps.
Aesthetics. Product appearance is important to most building owners. Therefore,
SpectrAlert SP2 wall speaker/strobes incorporate similar aesthetic curves and
features of SpectrAlert horns and strobes, for a more appealing look.
