When power supply is interrupted, the time period starts and at the end of the set time the relay releases. If power supply is reapplied before the relay releases, the time is reset and the relay remains on. B 121/B 128 monitor that power supply is applied. If power supply is interrupted, the relay starts e.g. an alarm (battery driven) after the time period has expired.
