FIRST AID MEASURES First Aid - Inhalation Remove affected person to fresh air, and if still feeling unwell seek medical attention. First Aid - Skin Wash skin with plenty of soap and water. First Aid - Eyes Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. First Aid - Ingestion Rinse mouth with water then give plenty of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES No unusual fire hazards. If product is involved in fire extinguish with dry powder, foam or carbon dioxide. Thermal decomposition would produce a complex variety of chemical species, some of which could be irritating and/or harmful if inhaled in significant volumes. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Ventilate area. Eliminate sources of ignition. For small spills wipe up with paper towel and place in container for disposal. For large spills absorb onto inert absorbent material and place in sealed container for disposal. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Wash spillage site thoroughly with soap and water or detergent solution. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling Use in well ventilated area. Avoid inhaling vapour. Adequate ventilation is recommended to remove traces of odour. Avoid sources of ignition - no smoking. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Storage Storage temperature range 1°C to 25°C. Store away from heat in a cool, well-ventilated area. Store away from direct sunlight. 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION Good industrial hygiene practices should be observed. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Inhalation This product is harmful by inhalation. Inhalation of vapours may cause headaches or dizziness. May cause irritation to respiratory system and mucous membranes if used in confined spaces. Skin This product is classified as a skin irritant. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION chemicals. Eyes This product is an irritant to the eyes. Vapours may be irritating to eyes causing lachrymatory effect. Ingestion This product is considered to be of low toxicity. May irritate the digestive tract. Ingestion of large quantities may cause damage to liver or kidneys. 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION Keep away from drains and open waters. Biodegradable product of low ecotoxicity. Biological and Chemical Oxygen Demands (BOD and COD) of cured Loctite products are insignificant. In the cured state contribution of this product to Environmental Hazards is insignificant in comparison to articles in which it is used. 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS After use, tubes, cartons and bottles containing residual product should be disposed of as "chemically contaminated waste" in an authorised legal land fill site or incinerated. Dispose of in accordance with local and national regulations. Incineration under controlled conditions recommended. Contribution of this product to waste is very insignificant in comparison to article in which it is used. Regulations governing disposal of individual articles apply. 14.
