VH3040 12 LED FLASHER CONTROLLER FEATURES No external component is needed Low standby current; < 1µA at VDD = 3.0V 12 LEDs can be connected in two ways: - When 12 or 6 LEDS are connected as output, LED13 ( LCN) flashes and power is turned off automatically after 10 seconds. - When 10 + 2 LEDs or 5 + 2 LEDs are connected as output, the power must be turned off manually LEDs will rotate every time and only one LED is on at last. IC can generate a sound which emulates varying speed. PIEZO BUZZER is directly driven GENERAL DESCRIPTION VH3040 is a monolithic integrated circuit fabricated in metal gate CMOS process. (2) When the Switch is released, 12 LEDs continue to rotate and flash and LCN (LED13) also continues to flash. (3) When LEDs stop rotating and only one LED is on, LCN (LED 13) still flashes continually. (4) After 10 seconds, all LEDs are off and IC stops operating. IC will repeat the above operations if SW is pressed again. (5) 6 LEDs ( instead of 12 LEDs ) can be connected to the IC as output. B) 10 LEDs ( or 5 LEDs ) + LEDs ( LCN, can be used in “comparing BIG and SMALL” ) (1) When SW1 is pressed once, 10 LEDs begin to rotate and flash out LCN ( 2 LEDs ) do not flash. (2) When the switch is released, the 10 LEDs continue to rotate. (3) When the 10 LEDs stops rotating and only one LED is on, pressing SW2 can make LCN ( the 11th and 12th LED ) flashing and stopping on one LED. (4) The power supply of LED and IC will not automatically turned off, so power must be disconnected manually. (5) 5 LEDs ( instead of 10 LEDs ) can be connected to IC as output.
