With an altogether new DSP board design, the ICP-2020 can be used as a single channel processor or configured with an additional DSP (ICP-2120) to process two voice grade channels simultaneously. The ICP-2020 performs demodulation, demultiplexing, bit stream synchronization and back-end processing for most commercially available modem and voice frequency telegraphy (VFT) signals, as well as complete Group 3 and V.17 FAX signals. In addition, the ICP-2020 can generate the modem and VFT signals that it is designed to process. Two analog inputs are available on the ICP-2020, and M/A-COM’s Dual Mode E1/T1 daughter card can be used to provide PCM Level 1 input to the ICP-2020. The ICP-2020 comes standard with M/A-COM’s Control Monitor Software for PC-based applications. All of these new features represent the next generation in Voice Grade Channel Processing from M/A-COM’s Communication Technologies Center.
