G711 Global Mixed-mode Technology Low-Voltage Analog Temperature Sensor in Tiny Package Features General Description ±1.0°C Temperature Accuracy Supply Voltage from 2.0V to 5.5V Operating Range: -55°C to 130°C Low, 18µA Supply Current SOT-553, TO-126F (Full Pack) and SC-70 Package The G711 is a low-power precision analog output CMOS temperature sensor. The output voltage of G711 is proportion to temperature. The voltage to temperature ratio is about -11.6mV/°C. The G711 can operate over a range of -55°C to +130°C with a power supply voltage of +2.5V to +5.5V. The transfer function of G711 is almost linear, and the accuracy is ±1.5°C at +30°C. Applications The quiescent current of G711 is about 18µA, so that the self-heating effects can be ignored. Cellular Phones Computers Temperature Control Automotive Battery Management Because of the wide supply voltage range, the operating temperature range varies with the voltage supply. The G711 can be used over a range of -55°C to +130°C with a supply voltage of 2.5V to 5.5V. For lower supply voltage of 2.0V, the G711 can be used over a temperature range of 0°C to +130°C.
