FIBER OPTIC DETECTOR OPF482

Sensing and Control
FIBER OPTIC DETECTOR
OPF482
Features:
• High speed, low capacitance
Ò
• Popular ST style receptacle
• Pre-tested with fiber to assure performance
• Component pre-mounted and ready to use
• 100MHz opera on minimum
DescripƟon:
The OPF482 is a low noise silicon PIN photodiode mounted in a low cost package for fiber op c applica ons. It offers fast
response at moderate bias and is compa ble with LED and laser diode sources in the 800-1000 nm wavelength region. Low
capacitance improves signal to noise performance in typical short haul LAN applica ons.
The OPF482 is designed to be compa ble with mul mode op cal fibers from 50/125 to 200/300 microns.
ApplicaƟons:
• Industrial Ethernet equipment
• Copper-to-fiber media conversion
• Intra-system fiber op c links
• Video surveillance systems
