1A Adjustable Positive Voltage Regulator LA317 1A Adjustable Positive Voltage Regulator General Description • LA317 is three terminal adjustable positive regulators capable of supplying 1 A output current.It could provide a very low dropout of 1.2V at 1A output current. • The LA317 is exceptionally easy to use and requires only two external resistors to set the output voltage which could down to 1.25V.Furthermore,both line and load regulation are better than standard fixed regulators.Additionally,LA317 includes a trimmed bandgap reference to assure the output voltage accuracy to be within 1.0%,it also provides on-chip current limiting and thermal shut down.The current limit is trimmed to ensure specified output current and controlled short-circuit current.The on-chip thermal limiting provides protection against any combination of overload and ambient temperature that would create excessive junction temperature.
