To charge batteries, open the battery compartment
and set the battery holder to the appropriate setting
(AA or AAA). Install the batteries in the chamber as
indicated by the polarity symbols (= and -) marked
inside. When charging only 2 batteries, use either
the two left or two right chambers.
Lift the prongs of the AC plug until the plug snaps

For best performance, charge the batteries in an area
between 59 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 25
degrees Celsius). If the area is too warm, the batteries
will not be fully charged. If the are is too cold, the
batteries can permanently lose their ability to charge.
Orientate charger in a vertical or floor mount position.
It is normal for batteries to become warm while
charging and is no cause for alarm.
Batteries self-discharge (lose their charge) at the rate
of 1/2 to 1% per day when not in use. For optimum
performance, charge before each use. Batteries that
have not been used for several months may require
2 or 3 charge cycles to reach full capacity.
